A business card is a day-to-day marketing tool for any business. Business owners hand it to people they meet who express an interest in their product or service. You don’t need to spend lot of money on designing and printing business cards. In fact, many online print companies offer templates that are free and easy to use. Using an online vendor also keeps you from running around once the card is designed. Most sites easily transition from design to print orders, sending you the final product within a week.
Go to an online print company such as Vista, Moo or Premium Cards. These are online print stores that take orders online, print items for a discount and mail you the final product. These websites offer designs and templates.
Find the section on the printing site titled “Business Card Design” or something similar. You may need to go into the business card section to find the design-your-own tab.
Select the template that fits the business. The designs are usually organized based on typical industry looks and graphics. For example, you can search medical, sports or entertainment designs.
Type the pertinent information into the boxes. The fonts will already be set for you, though you may have the option to adjust font sizes, colors and types. Enter the company name, your name, title and contact information.
Add any additional graphics you want. Most templates will allow you to click on the existing graphic and replace it with your own graphic or logo. Follow the on-screen prompts; each website has a different format and procedure.
Order your cards after you have followed all design prompts and reviewed your final product. Pay with a credit or debit card.
